  1. Steve Clifford Extended

There are a few things I really don't like about him, but he has shown some improvement in them this year. Him sticking with the Kemba-Lin-Batum-Frank-Zeller lineup that brought us back was nice. There are a lot of bad coaches in the NBA and I'm pretty okay with sticking with Clifford for a bit longer. He's the best coach this franchise has ever had, as sad as that may be.
  2. Cam Newton is your Offensive Player of the Week

Fun stat: all of Cam's TD passes were against the blitz on Sunday. You'd think after a qb has thrown 4 TDs against your blitz you'd stop fuging blitzing.
  3. What Cowboys Fans Are Saying

I like Romo because his story is awesome and on any other team he would be a very likable guy. He was undrafted and has turned into a damn good quarterback. I honestly feel bad for him that he has to play for that shitshow that is the Cowboys, everything he does is unfairly scrutinized one way or the other.
  4. Hornets vs. Kings

Yeah Frank on Rudy Gay was very surprising, he really did a good job defensively there.
  5. The Gauntlet: Hornets Edition (next 9 games)

I'm looking forward to this stretch, we have looked pretty good so far and I really expect us to come out of this stretch about 2 games over .500 just like we are now. The win in Dallas didn't really seem impressive but they have only lost 5 games so far this season. I think we're pretty good, and I expect 5-4 or 4-5 in this stretch.  Wizards: W- We own the Wizards and they have been struggling to adapt to a new offense Cavs: W- I think we finally beat a team with LeBron James on it, it is long overdue Bucks: W- They have struggled and I think Batum can find the holes in their very good defense Warriors: L- They are too good, I can't imagine any team they would lose to @Bulls L- Good team on the road, we'll probably lose and it wouldn't be a bad loss Pistons: L- I fear Drummond will own us Heat: W- We owe them one and this one is on our home floor @Grizzlies: L- We don't match up with them very well anymore and it's on the road Celtics: W- They are pretty much the definition of mediocre with every player on their team being a bench guy, I think we handle them pretty easily
  6. Hornets beat 76ers

It really does though. No team is really good, but only the Sixers and Nets are bad. There are a lot of teams right around .500
  7. Tool w/Primus Is Coming To Charlotte 1/26

I'm making the trek from Asheville with a couple of friends for this one. Both these bands kick ass, I was stoked when I saw this announced.
  8. 90s music

Forgot about The Offspring somehow. They kick ass.
  9. 90s music

I didn't grow up in the 90s (born in 1994) so take my list with a grain of salt: Most grunge is good: Nirvana, STP, Alice in Chains (way closer to rock) Deftones are one of my favorite bands A lot of good metal bands started up in the mid-late 90s: Static-X, Slipknot, System of a Down, Lamb of God
  10. The Ginger Dalton is upset by Watt's Comments

    South Park
  11. Hornets vs Trailblazers

Pretty good game, aside from the horrible coaching. Clifford either needs to figure this out now or leave town with Jefferson. That's another thing I accepted yesterday. Jefferson had a ton of points, but he was getting them in obnoxious ways. He is not a fit at all on this team and he needs to be traded or bought out. That would really tell me we're headed in the right direction, which I think we are.
  12. Hornets vs Knicks

Damn, you're right. The next 6 game stretch after that one is: Wizards  Cavs Bucks Warriors  Bulls  Pistons
  13. Hornets vs Knicks

The upcoming schedule actually looks pretty light to me, we had a rough start with Miami, Atlanta x2, Spurs, Bulls x2, Wolves, even the Mavs are better than I thought. This doesn't look too bad to me, I think we'll get over .500 soon and if we keep playing like we have been we'll stay there. I think we'll win about 45/46 games this season. Bulls Blazers Knicks  Nets Sixers Kings
  14. Jeremy Lamb extended by the Hornets 3 years/21 mill

He was sitting on the bench. He rarely played in OKC, even though he was the main thing they got for Harden.
  15. Hornets @ Timberwolves 11/10

If it gives you any hope, the TWolves draft history was absolutely brutal (probably worse than ours) before Flip Saunders became the GM. They seriously drafted 3 PGs over Steph Curry.
