I think that's a more recent use. I've heard the word since I was a kid and even seen it used in old movies and TV with no political subtext.

Steelers had DT Phil Taylor in for a look but passed on him after checking out a knee problem.

Having a great defense is 'our enemy' and the Seahawks are 'an anonymity'.
    Wow.
Is somebody handing out pills that do the reverse of what the ones in 'Limitless' do?

'Reactionary' can also mean reacting too quickly or without thinking things through.
That's how it's generally used here.

I can tell by who likes it that it's not very well done.

    Meanwhile, in Redskinland...
Dianna Russini reported that there was dissension between the GM and the owner about RG3.
A tweet claiming to be from the wife of Redskins GM Scot McCloughan asked Russini how many BJs she had to give to get that information
The Redskins then stated that the offensive tweet was from a fake account, not the GM's wife. Info on the account was given to NFL Security for investigation.
Turns out the account was genuine.
    (insert mocking laughter here)

Worth remembering that Seattle works out of a run heavy WCO. We run a Coryell that's not big on YAC.
    These things matter.
Scheme fit makes a difference, sometimes a big one.

I'll die laughing watching people go ape s--t if they don't.

I can see it if they put him in as a practice squad exception player.
(but I agree it probably won't happen)

Yeah, but ya gotta give him credit for the nice lookout block he followed up with.
