  1. Unheralded Architect of the Carolina Panthers

No one can doubt that Hurney eventually painted himself into a corner when it came to the cap. We can all agree, however, that he did pick a great shade of paint to do it with.
  2. Luke Bryan

Is it just me or did the NFL say "No more lip syncing" to the performers? Luke Bryan wasn't very good but Big Whatever that rapped and then attempted to sing in Detroit... whew. Man, that shows you what a good producer can do for a bad voice.
  3. I lost my job yesterday

Best of luck, something better will come along. Here's a link to a really good publishing company. Should be able to take your skills and put them to better use. First class employer, worked with them a few years ago. Many different publications. Your web posting looks good, nice portfolio. The frog theme in the About Me section should be dropped, though. Doesn't match the tone of the rest of your stuff.
  4. Props to Oher

Oher has been excellent this year. He held up very well yesterday and shut Hardy down. He deserves a lot of credit for that and let's face it, he's been one of the keys to our success.  Yes, he gives up a sack every now and then. All LTs do, even the best ones. It is one of the hardest non-skill positions in the game and you are always up against the best defensive lineman on the other team. Big Mike has shown how great of a pickup Gettleman made and how sometimes a third chance really, really pays off.
  5. Kurt Coleman

If Gettleman went to a yard sale, he'd come home with a Picasso, a Tiffany vase and a '61 'vette. Spent $3.98.   Coleman has proven to be another piece of Gettlemagic!
  6. 11-0 Pie

Not even sure how to act at 11-0! Never been here before!
  7. Dang, who would have thought the street value on Jimmy Claussen was so high? Some folks will have big wads of money thrown at them no matter what happens.
  8. Rams receiver Stedman Bailey shot

Some folks are miserable no matter what. We're undefeated, it's late in the season and we've got a game tomorrow.  Haven't we got something bigger than a non-Panthers thread in the Panthers board to complain about? Nope, I don't guess we do actually. Things are going pretty good for us.  Mr. Scott's going to keep us informed of all things football and Fiz is gonna Fiz. Buy Mr. Scott a drink and someone give Fiz his lithium back. It's all going to be alright.
  9. Just as every cop is a criminal And all the sinners, saints As heads is tails Just call me Lucifer 'Cause I'm in need of some restraint So if you meet me Have some courtesy Have some sympathy, and some taste Use all your well-learned politesse Or I'll lay your soul to waste Sympathy for the Devil, Rolling Stones. Some days, you can't even argue that we're the good guys anymore.
  10. This is a fun team that has high character and is happily a big part of their community. They represent and reflect the Carolinas so very well.
  11. The greg hardy vs michael oher matchup

I've never heard of Hardy being a student of the game, much less his own team. He was blessed with the physical skills, picked up a move or two here and there, and has basically made his name in games where he faced O-linemen that were below his caliber. He'll get his sack early on, I am betting. And then he'll fade and disappear until he gets in another fight on the sidelines when his emotions get the most of him. He'll come back out after half time with his face paint reading "Help Me" backwards like Al Snow in the ECW days.
  12. Frank Alexander - Suspended for 1 year

What can you say, really? Third offense. Real world folks sometimes only get one before they are pretty much out of a job, even if it is just flipping burgers somewhere. A team went out on a limb for him multiple times, gave him roster spots in training camp and stuck by him through the previous run-ins. Each year, some guy who might have made the team missed out on a chance because "Roll Me A Fattie" Frank couldn't figure out that pot isn't worth the millions of dollars he could have been earning. Dumba$$ let the team down and himself. Good thing we weren't in a bind and relying on him.
  13. Tillman Most Likely Out

I'm more worried about Witten than Beasley. I think Colin Jones can hold it down. As said before, had he not gotten beat on one play, at the beginning of the game, by one of the best receivers in the league, it wouldn't be a big deal. Have faith in team depth and Gettlemagic.
