  2. Panthers 1st round big board.

OL hasn’t opened a hole in years. This could be the year we focus on G/C and possibly a developmental T. good value at 24 with Daniels or Hernandez. Would love to trade back, but it looks like every other team would too.
  3. Cappy's 7 Round Mock

Very realistic. That site makes you realize how tough it is to get who you want. This year the ratings are all over the place too. imo, the bpa at 24 will be CB or OL, unless there’s a miraculous drop.

  5. Fanspeak 7 Round Mock

So I decided to try to make this one more realistic- no trade partners and bpa. Used Fanspeak grades and took highest rated player in rds 1&2, players within top 5 in rd 3; within top 10 in rd 5; within top 20 rated in rds 6&7. 24: R1P24 G WILL HERNANDEZ UTEP 55: R2P23 TE DALLAS GOEDERT SOUTH DAKOTA STATE 85: R3P21 OT JAMARCO JONES OHIO STATE 88: R3P24 CB DONTE JACKSON LSU 161: R5P24 WR JALEEL SCOTT NEW MEXICO STATE 197: R6P23 S TREY MARSHALL FLORIDA STATE 234: R7P16 CB ARRION SPRINGS OREGON 242: R7P24 S STEPHEN ROBERTS AUBURN
  6. Interesting Mock Draft via NFL.COM

    especially with this crop...
  7. Fanspeak 7 Round Mock

Looked at this one differently. I’m getting the feeling few if any of the guys available at 24 can start for us (could be wrong). Assuming that, I looked at picks that could play some this year, but help us fill holes after a year of coaching, for the future. i wouldn’t be totally shocked if Kolton Miller is available, that we took him at 24 with an eye to the future. 24: R1P24 EDGE MARCUS DAVENPORT UTSA 55: R2P23 C FRANK RAGNOW ARKANSAS 85: R3P21 S TERRELL EDMUNDS VIRGINIA TECH 88: R3P24 WR D.J. CHARK LSU 161: R5P24 RB KALEN BALLAGE ARIZONA STATE 197: R6P23 CB HOLTON HILL TEXAS 234: R7P16 TE JORDAN THOMAS MISSISSIPPI STATE 242: R7P24 LB DARIUS JACKSON JACKSONVILLE STATE
  8. DE Marcus Davenport or WR Calvin Ridley at 24

I have hind Ridley would be 3rd or 4th best WR in other years. He’s benefiting from weak class this year. Having said that, Davenport is no sure thing either ... Id go DE if we have them rated equally
  9. Panthers Mock w/Trades Scenario

If we waste a first round pick on a TE in this class I’ll storm the stadium...
  10. Rashaad Penny vs. Nick Chubb

Gimlets cost you games too, if you drink enough of them.....
  11. First Pick Mock

Your score is: 23256 (GRADE: A+) Your Picks: Round 2 Pick 4 (IND): Hernandez, Will, OG, Texas-El Paso (B+) Round 2 Pick 23: Jackson, Josh, CB, Iowa (A+) Round 2 Pick 31 (N.E.): Michel, Sony, RB, Georgia (A) Round 3 Pick 3 (IND): Harrison, Ronnie, SS, Alabama (A+) Round 3 Pick 24: Christian, Geron, OT, Louisville (A) Round 3 Pick 27 (N.O.): Gallup, Michael, WR, Colorado State (A) Round 4 Pick 11 (LAR): Thomas, Chad, DE, Miami (FL) (A+) Round 4 Pick 25 (TENN): Norton, Kendrick, DT, Miami (FL) (A) Round 4 Pick 27 (N.O.): McFadden, Tarvarus, CB, Florida State (A+) Round 5 Pick 24: Thomas, Jordan, TE, Mississippi State (A) Round 6 Pick 23: Watts, Armani, FS, Texas AM (A+) Round 7 Pick 16: Flowers, Dimitri, FB, Oklahoma (A+) Round 7 Pick 24: Johnson, Taron, CB, Weber State (A+)
  12. Willing to trade down “if”...

I think if we believe one of the top corners or safeties could start for us and be solid, we’d have to take them at 24. Unless there’s a huge run on QB before us, I doubt there’s a “must have” guy at 24, so yeah, I’d trade back in a second but the deal would need to be better than what you’ve proposed. Don’t like giving up 55.
  13. This draft is super hard to predict. If you look at the “experts”, they’re all over the board on who’s the top CB or OL. G and S tend to slip due to position as well. I’m more concerned that we get impact w our first 4 picks. S, RB, G, WR, DE could all see significant playing time as it stands now. bpa at our picks could be LB, OT (project), or CB...
