  1. I get the importance. I'm just saying that active jerseys are valuable and having an LS active who ultimately may not play, be it JJ or new guy, stings. Definitely an unusual situation.
  2. Talk about a waste of an active spot.  I know it's a contingency in this scenario, but has to sting if a team feels the need to keep a second long snapper active on gameday. Luke did practice as a backup long snapper in college...
  3. Cam on a Shelf....

From MVP to MVE - Most Valuable Elf.
  4. We Have Officially Made It

I have a jersey from 95 that is the number 95 just has 'Panthers' on the nameplate... wore that thing out as a kid.
  5. Tillman Most Likely Out

What are you talking about? Watch the play again, as there was no hard plant and not even a head fake; Jackson ran straight with a slight outside angle and then went straight upfield, with Colin stumbling as he was turning around. Colin played outside technique since it was a Cover 1 and Coleman was in the middle of the field, exactly as he was supposed to.  Again, I'm not saying that the play was a guaranteed incompletion or anything if he had kept his footing, but the TD was a product of an ideal route by Desean vs. the coverage made easy through him stumbling.
  6. Tillman Most Likely Out

This. Colin stumbling at the start of the route continues to be forgotten, and the fact that nothing like it happened again tells me it was a fluke TD.
  7. Jets waive Quentin Coples

Surely somebody would kick his tires though. I'll be very surprised if he makes it through waivers... hell, even Aaron Curry was picked up a couple of times.
  8. Jets waive Quentin Coples

Yes. I'd be surprised if no one claimed him though.
  9. Jets waive Quentin Coples

Not sure what you mean, but teams have 24 hours to claim a player. After time is up, the team highest on the waiver list gets the player if more than one team put in a claim.
  10. I remember literally nothing about the 2012 game. It has been completely wiped from my memory, and it seems for good reason. Here's to a successful revolt.
  11. Stewart Plants a Redskin into the Field

Man, Dickson and (to a lesser extent) Greg were beat like drums on that play.
  12. Saints game flexed

Other Panthers games may have been protected since they're doing well this year, so maybe they wanted to cash in on the 'alpha male' ratings while they can. Wonder if any of the other late games (Den vs SD, KC vs Oak, Philly vs NE) will be getting bumped forward.
  13. Panthers sign Ras-I Dowling

This, and it only looked as bad as it did because Jones stumbled turning around to run with him. Not saying that the completion and/or TD wouldn't have happened had Jones not stumbled, but there's a reason that was the only big play all day.
  14. Jonathan Stewart

Since we're on the subject, a quick stroll down memory lane. And another angle because it's awesome.
