To be honest it's not that big of a deal. I've even asked people that have spoken to him directly about it and he's told them himself "Man it's not a big thing Corey or Philly. The media just kind of spun it out of proportion."
This is evidenced by his IG and Twitter handle.
*Also I saw some of the same people advocating for Philly to cease, calling Ndamukong Suh "Donkey Kong." So I don't even care about PC when those types of hypocrites exist on this board.
Honestly I mainly say that with not much transaction evidence. Just if I had to bet my check on teams being as bad as last year it just doesn't seem possible. I've never seen the south have a year like last.
I think and they've shown it in the preseason that the Falcons will be the main competition. Their defense has gotten better from what I've heard, and they had the biggest steals draft wise.
Tampa has potential for an amazing offense with a pretty decent defense.
Saints have Brees...period.
Of course I hope you're right but I see a bit more competition. (Technically you still made my point as your predicted records aren't as weak as they were last year.)
As inception like and almost confusing as that statement was it's exactly correct. Someone asked if we were all excited about WR's before, why do we all of a sudden go from Excitement to Panic after one injury.
The excitement was banking on KB developing even further and having Funchess opposite of him. This would allow a bit of pressure off of Kelvin along with learning room for Funchess. Now this changes the entire dynamic of the team, Funchess may essentially get double teamed. We still have a better base than what we went in with last year, the main difference being Kelvin had higher expectations being drafted in the 1st (along with filling the shoes of Steve.)
Definitely Out. Hamstring Tweak and he's going to be a huge part going forward at this point. No point in letting it get worse into the season (Hamstrings nag i.e. Steve Smith missing 4 weeks a while back.)
Jeez, posted two hours ago and not even on page two this place really is dead.
Hopefully no one believes we will absolutely tank this season. At the end of the day as an integral piece as KB was football is played on the field, not on paper.
We still have the same (but improved) Defense that will hold teams to minimal scoring. Many other positions on Offense have improved from last year as well. Assuming that to be the case around 17 to 20+ ppg should be enough to win a decent amount of games.
Exactly Man oh man, I've never been so disappointed while reading posts on this site. I'd say I'm surprised but I have to realize these are the people we live with. I would've thought it was all trolling....sadly that clearly is not the case. Clearly as exhibited the in fact that some believe using logic is stating "If they didn't commit a crime they wouldn't die."
The guy really said "If he's not related to them it has nothing to do with them." That killed every chance he had at any validity then and there.
Haha personally while I wanted you know who to stay with us and retire here. I don't think he'd have had the same season that he had last year. Their system is much better built for going through the air and we haven't been that team since Chudzinski (boy do I miss those days).
This. Above all I tried explaining this yesterday, wherever you do have strengths in this league barring a miracle you are going to have a weakness elsewhere. GM's have to pick their poison and decide which is most important to them.
Honestly a loss such as that changes the entire dynamic of the WR core. Benjamin was going to require a definite double team and even stated last year that they were rolling coverages his way (i.e. 05 Steve Smith) Without KB that leaves another defender free to roam the field. This potentially can be a huge blow. Let's pray it's not.
