Special Teams is how they'll keep guys like Wegher

Nick Goings was a guy like that. Not flashy, wouldn't make half the rosters in the league but Fox liked him because he could always depend on him.

I liked how he caught that pass that was thrown behind him and kept truckin'.
I felt the same way a lot of you guys do last season but the guy has good hands and deceptive speed.
Norwood looked good today. I like the catches, the energy, the blocks. Funchise looks very good. He reminds me of a taller Moose. I'm not worried about receivers anymore.

You can tell he works harder than other guys. He doesn't take anything for granted. I love that

Yeah, can a guy change his mindset? It's up to him, so I'd never say never. Likely, maybe not. Impossible? No.

Can't blame the coaching staff on their trying to harness the potential they see. When he held on to the ball as a returner he had some electric runs. He bulked up a little in the offseason which is good. The guy has talent but he has to learn not to shy away from defenders. Catch the ball and turn into the aggressor like Moose and Smitty did. Walter Payton would make defenders pay for even trying to tackle him.
The difference between a #1,2 or 3 WR or any offensive player is that aggressor attitude. It doesn't matter if you're 5'9" if you attack DBs after the catch you become 1st team material. If you shy away from contact you'll never be a great football player. Be the hammer Philly. UDFAs only get so many chances so you can't hold back. 1st catch the ball, 2nd run angry!

If you've got a nickname don't change it. The football gods don't know who this Corey Brown is

Glad he admitted to what we here in Carolina knew already. He may have been one of the greatest talents the Panthers have had but because of lack of effort not the greatest player

  11. rippadonn added a post in a topic I am not positive Jameis Winston will survive long enough to face the Panthers

Not convinced ownership wants to win a SuperBowl. He chose to make a point and most of his audience approved at the time. It became personal and not business. There is no doubt Hardy would have helped this year. King of chicken and PR maybe, but not building teams for SuperBowl runs. Just happy to have a team here in good ol' Charlotte, that's all we deserve :-/

    Philly Brown>>>Corey Brown
Stop fighting being more than yourself! You can still sign checks as "Corey Brown"
Go back to Philly and it'll be alright. Represent!

They're better prepared this year than if it would've happened last year. I really think the Funchise will man up and take up the slack.
IF CJ and Star can stay healthy we'll be OK
