  1. Greg Olsen in Inside Amy Schumer skit

Amy is just a teenage boy with boobs. To view her in any other way is to give her too much gravitas. Personally I find her hilarious. If you find her offensive then you will definitely want to avoid watching "Broad City".
  2. I'd sell my PSL's. Bruton is one nasty individual. The ass raping of the city of Charlotte would commence within 10 minutes of the paperwork being signed.
  3. To be fair, that's not a very high bar to pass.
  4. Where to buy Season Tix?

I was in the same predicament. You can buy season ticket packages from several on line sites (maximtickets, seasonticketrights etc....). You can try Craigslist and Ebay. I found that the posted prices at the legitimate sites where 2- 300% above face and that's before you add another 30% for middlemen fees. You see some great deals on Craigslist and Ebay. Too great. I'm sure there are honest sellers out there but I feel it's too much money to risk it. We ended up buying PSL's because it is under a five year payback just from paying face for the season tickets. We used PSLSource and it went pretty smoothly. There is a ton of PSL's for sale right now. Prices really haven't moved much in the 6 months I've been paying attention to it. You can also try your luck with the scalpers outside the stadium which is probably the cheapest route. I got burned once by a street hawker 20 years ago and will never do that again (it wasn't a Panthers game). We got to the seats only to find the "season ticket holders" sitting there. I believe the Season ticket holders were in on the scam but there was no way to prove it. If purchasing the PSL's weren't an option I would probably would have continued to loiter here and wait for a huddler to offer up their season tickets. If they are a long time member chances are they are legit. In fact I did get an offer for one seat through a private message but we had already moved on the PSL's by then. Good luck!
  5. The schedule

Wife already told me she expects me home (all day) on Christmas Eve. Damn.
  6. No. I did some researching and it was Thomas Keiser who we signed as a UDFA out of Stanford I think in 2011. We Released him in May 2013 and he was a DE. So I got the year and the position wrong but he was a white guy so I did get that part right. I just remember him spending most of his preseason snaps in the other teams back field. He's no longer in the league.
  7. Who was the DT that we had through the pre-season last year? I think he made it to the final cut. A little undersized but one hell of a motor. Oh yeah, and he was a white guy. I can't remember his name but I liked him and can't remember if he signed somewhere else.
  8. My take on this : CJ is opening a restaurant in Charlotte. He's seen what being a passive investor in a restaurant did for Dan Morgan and he's not going to make that same mistake. He figures it's at least one more year before his restaurant is open and has established itself, and he wants to be hands on during that period. That means he wants to be in Charlotte. Imagine being in his position with his relative youth. He's not concerned about next year's paycheck, he's concerned about his paycheck when he's 45. Probably idiot reasoning, but I haven't seen any other idiots step up to the podium.

  10. I thought 4.92 was fast for a 4-3 DE, but your post made me google that poo and I stand corrected : http://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article19734324.html The Observer reviewed the NFL’s top 25 defensive ends in 4-3 defenses from last season, as calculated by the football analytics site Pro Football Focus. The measurables for those players, on average: ▪ 6-foot-3; ▪ 267 pounds; ▪ 331/3 inch arm length; ▪ 34 inch vertical; ▪ 4.74 40 at the NFL scouting combine, and; ▪ 25 bench press repetitions of 225 pounds.
  11. If they are good seats I'll take all that you don't want. By good I mean upper deck (cause I'm cheap) in the first 10 rows (cause I'm also lazy), close to the aisle and on the shade side (507-534).
  12. Let me get this back on track ... Your welcome
  13. Thanks! That's what I wanted to know.
  14. Gun show loopholes

I've been to a half dozen gun shows at Metrolina and surrounding areas in the last 10 years and have come to the conclusion that I can get better deals through Gander Mountain on new and used firearms and also the peripherals. Second, I'm sure it is possible to buy a gun without a background check but I would never sell one to someone I didn't know without that paperwork in place. I have a sneaking suspicion that any gun with a serial number is traceable.
  15. Just curious. I don't think I want to buy PSL's but I will be looking to buy all 10 tickets for the 2016 season. I've seen blocks advertised on Craigslist and on PSL Source but I've never bought blocks before, only single game. If you have some insight into the process I would love to hear it. Thanks in advance.
