Zeller is the most skilled Vet so he'll start at PF. Frank will see 15-17 mins off the bench just like Zeller did as a rookie.
Clifford is a Vet's coach and he'll play them over Rookies. Players have to earn a spot, he's said that a few times now about rookies. Frank probably has a better chance for more minutes later in the year because of his Polish though.
He was 5th among guards with 35 votes for all defensive team honors.
Defensive rating of 102, third in steal percentage, 2.4 defensive plus minus, defensive win share of 2.8. All higher then Chris Paul, who's usually considered the best defensive PG in the league.
Top 5 in steals and steal percentage 3 straight years.....
Sure seems like he can play defense...
It was a bad deal though, four late first round picks, nothing unprotected or any lottery picks and it was possible that one of them turned into 2 second rounders. There's a reason every team in the top ten turned them down.
Winslow's Jumper numbers were god awful, worse then MKG. All his 3pt shots were set shots and his form takes forever.
Highly doubt he makes it with his current shot in the NBA. Would not be surprised if he doesnt have to completely reconstruct his jumper.
If not, i doubt he'll be very successful on anything outside of 15 feet.
Ft% in the 60's, his 2pt % on jumpers was 26%.
On top of that MKG is a bigger, longer and more athletic player. Completely a better college to pro prospect
Lol at thinking a player not as good at what MKG is at is the answer for the team.
Get over it, it's clear from the makeup that they are building the team around his and Kemba's strengths.
His stats didn't dip last season, he was above NBA average in mid range game percentage, his driving and transition offense was still good and his defense was elite. His ft% was also above 70% on the year and nearly 80 after the break.
The team averaged more points and gave up less with him on the court as well. Also he averaged nearly 9 shots a game last season and shot 46% from the field.
Oh and the team had a winning record with him and an abysmal loosing record without him.
He is with out a doubt the most important player on the team as far as wins and losses are concerned.
He's probably going to average highs in assists here. He'll be used similar to hedo in Orlando when clifford was there. So theres a chance he has career highs across the board this season since he'll have the ball so much.
