There have been so many games over the years where the panthers lost when they "should" have won. Or they played better than their record indicated. I feel this team has grown a lot to actually win all four of these. Very happy with them and I get to remain happy for two weeks as we are undefeated all time during the bye week.
Norman can have all the celebration penalties he wants as long as he keeps scoring as far as I am concerned. (I miss the old days when players could celebrate however they wanted. I still don't know what good the rules against celebration are supposed to be)
Also only the fumbled can advance it on 4th down. Regardless, this is the luckiest panthers touchdown I can remember. Anyone remember a luckier one? Also this reminded me of Steve smith's lucky touchdown on the deflection against us with the Ravens last year.
One thing I noticed was that on the bad spots, the line judges were simply not in position to spot the ball. When the saints were given the benefit of the spot on 4th and 1, both line judges were 5 yards down the field. They had little chance to make a good spot due to being out of position. There was also a play where the panthers threw a ball into the end zone and maybe there was pi but the ref completely turned his head away from the play while the ball was approaching like he was afraid the ball would hit him.
That is so cool. I used to really like his podcast but I just stopped listening for some reason. I will definitely check it out tomorrow. I have listened to your last two huddle podcasts and they are great. Really enjoyed norman and bene last week. You are doing a great job on those.
