Rivera got the impression Benjamin was a humble, team-oriented player. "I'm impressed by who he is."

Rivera: I'm thirlled about it. when you get a player with that talent you will create opportunities for other people.

He said he "didn't want to let the quarterback down." Ron said "I love that about him."

Everyone in stadium knew ball was going to Benjamin at the end of the national title game. Benjamin said he knew he'd catch it...

we'll have two tight end sets every freakin play now.  Re-mock in 2019, KB is a top 10 pick.

for those worried about speed:

Jerry Rice: 4.71, and he wasn't 6'5" 240 fuggin pounds

For anybody who said they entrusted Gettleman to pick BPA, you should have no problem with this pick

Kind of sounds like he really wanted to be here...warms me up to the pick a lot. Also the fact that we turned in our card so quickly with Lee still on the board. This was our guy, I have to support it.

I guess I'm in the minority with this pick. I feel like there were better options. Only time will tell though

Does it count as a dunk over the goalpost if you're still standing on the ground? Guy has some seriosly long arms.

Couldn't be happier with this pick. Actually surprised we didn't get a "hog mollie" but I feel like he actually fits that description. Can't wait to see him and Cam do work.

Just imagine....

1st Kelvin Benjamin

2nd OT Hog Molly of your choice

3rd Martavius Bryant

Could this be our Brandon Marshall/Alshon Jeffery duo?

As someone who has been screaming for a good red zone receiver for several years, I'm thrilled with the pick.

Steve Smith was all world until you found yourself with a short field where he would get lost in traffic. Olsen has the size but sometimes lacks physicality. And LaFell was LaFell.

KB is really going to pay off when we drive down to the red zone, and that's good enough for me.

Been calling it since last August, this is who I wanted the most and it fits the best and I'm glad DG agrees.
