Recommended Posts

The nations 22nd ranked player in the country (according to ESPN)... Shy Tuttle... has released his top five.

In no particular order: UNC, Clemson, Miami, Tennessee, and N.C. State.

247 seems to think UNC has a good lead on Tuttle.

Been hearing that for a while. A lot of UNC fans think it's pretty much a done deal.

Well Tennessee is all of sudden looking good for Tuttle. Should be interesting.

Only problem with that is Dalton..... He wants to play with him and Dalton isn't interested in Tenn last I saw. If Tutt has changed his mind or can get him interested, then that might change.

That's a pretty big loss.

I wonder what happened.

North Stanly (NC) 2016 RB Antonio Williams has decommited from #UNC @rivals pic.twitter.com/gvfnKmDhxa

Hoping that link works correctly. This is what he posted, my buddy works for THI and will be interviewing him today or tomorrow if he can... When I hear something I'll let you know.

My opinion is he can see that UNC is loaded at RB with Logan, Hood, and Francis. All players can count and see where the minutes are and he has a lot of SEC options with more PT available.

Best wishes to him.

He looked like a good player.

He is a monster. Great kid, fun to watch but he plays for a smaller school and only has 1-2 games you can even evaluate film from. He had a game last yr where he rushed for over 300 yds and 5-6 tds on like 15 carries and only got touched on half of those attempts.

We are stacked in the backfield. Not a big loss. Elijah Hood will erase your doubts quick fast and in a hurry.

Yeah Elijah is something truly special. Great player and an awesome kid. Enjoyed last yr so much since I go to work closely around him and get to know him. Most Humble, respectful and polite kid I've ever worked with. He will be great, amazing talent with heart and desire to compliment his physical gifts.

I covered many of his games over last 2-3 yrs and remember the West Meck game for 2 specific reasons:

In game Elijah was at LB and WM's RB Shaun Wilson (Duke Commit) broke outside on a sweep from the 6 yd line. Elijah caught Wilson from behind (Not with an angle but straight ran him down) after around 50 yds. It was amazing! Wilson is known to be one of the fastest guys around Charlotte and in the state.

After the game I'm talking with Coach Oddo and waiting to talk with Elijah and he walks up and first thing he ask is if I knew how many tackles he had. I laughed and thought this kid just ran for over 300 yds and 3-4 tds and he asked me how many tackles? He is such a team guy and the community of players loved him. Note: wish I had video of his smile when I asked him about catching Wilson from behind.... answer was "I guess he isn't the fastest around here"

I'm very familiar with Hood, but it's not a bad thing to have a revolving door of running back's.

Williams would have been a nice get.

We were 4 deep at RB last year. We lose AJ Blue and add Hood.

We have Logan and Francis for 2 more years. Hood for at least 3. I'm not overly concerned tbh. Now next year if we don't get another okay.
