Jump straight to the 38 minute mark and you'll hear a barrage of the Madden classic "Brett Favre"

Notice the starting left tackle was a converted TE in Campbell and only to returning starters in the 2 guards...eerily similar

"You know it had to be a pass, because there was no one in the backfield."

That's the kind of analysis that made Madden the GOAT.

Yeah the Time and score was a very nice addition. The yellow line was ok too. But station identification logos started getting bigger. Then the news ticker along the bottom. Then pop up commercials for the fall lineup. Some of the changes are so incredibly welcome. Like HD and better instant replay. But the commercials and sponsorships have really gotten out of control.

Chad Cota probably, although Pat Terrell might have gotten one that game too.

It was Terrell this game. I was only 10 but I remember the Pat Terrell interception vividly for some reason.

I was 22, watched the game with my Dallas fan roommate... He left in the 3rd qtr, I hurried & found a VHS that I wouldnt mind taping over. I got a heartfelt "Fug off.." when he got home & I put the rest of the game on for him....

Great memories... was 25 and somewhere in all that mess drunk out of my mind and mercilessly heckling every cowgirl fan I could find.

I remember thinking the Lamar Lathon hit on Michael Irvin didn't look like anything special...until Irvin didn't get up.

Later on someone (Sam Mills, i think) drove Deion Sanders head into the ground.  You could tell that one hurt.

Wasn't it all 4 linebackers at the same time?  It was at least 2 or 3 I remember that thinking, he dead. (Sanders hit)

It was Terrell this game. I was only 10 but I remember the Pat Terrell interception vividly for some reason.

I actually looked it up.  Turns out my vague recollection was correct,  Both Cota and Terrell had interceptions.  And oddly enough, each with 49 yard returns (checked that in a couple of places because it seemed odd).

Sam Mills actually had one too.  I remember that now after seeing it in the box score.

It was a great game :D
