Considering the level of Panthers secondary, Cooks should be adding to his highlights those 2 games!

Beast!

New Orleans Saints rookie first-round wide receiver Brandin Cooks has made a fast impression on his teammates.

Saints cornerback Keenan Lewis calls Cooks "Lightning."

"I called him 'lightning,'" Lewis said. "A (defensive back) might be in his back pocket and the next thing you know he's 50, 60 yards down the field."

Cooks has accelerated away from defenders during practice sessions.

"It's always an honor to have a guy like that," Lewis said. "Not just because of the kind of football player he is, but because he's a good person too."

Cooks won the Fred Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top receiver last season.

He was unable to attend some of the Saints' practices this spring due to Oregon State's academic schedule.

Know what I picture? Hardy slamming him from one side, Godfrey from the other, and Luke comes flying in to make sure he stays down

Is this the same Hardy that couldn't do anything against Charles Brown! a guy that was so bad at LT that he was replaced by a rookie in one of the final games of the season? Is this the same Hardy that only took a rookie in his first NFL start half a game to adjust and make him a non factor again!? Just checking

I sure hope he's that good, considering you idiots gave up a 3rd round pick for him.

You realize you pretty much contradicted yourself in that sentence right? And by that logic I guess the entire NFL sucks.

You idiots? Are you saying I'm in charge of the Saints draft?

Did someone just put on Beastie Boys?

check Armsteads stats from 2nd half of Panthers game thru playoffs. He was solid against some pretty good competition!

Brown was getting owned by everyone except Hardy. Against a Brown Hardy had ZERO pressures, ZERO QB hits, ZERO sacks

Hardy only did well in the first half , ie. Armsteads first like 25 snaps in the NFL. Armstead was also pretty solid against Seattle, but had a few games under his belt by then, I think that's different than your first snaps ever in the NFL.

I am not so impressed with Hardy and think both of our two 10+sack DEs are better, at least Cam Jordan for sure is! Hardy only got over ten sacks thanks to those 3 sacks against Armstead in 1st half and another 3 sacks the following week against the leftovers offense ATL had playing. Actually pAnthers recorded 8 sacks in that game and PFF only had two positve grades for Falcons offense that game, a +0.4 for Matt Ryan, and a +1.0 for Harry Douglass. Yet that terrible offense was a botched snap away from winning.

Julio back to 100%? Given the nature of the thread I have to say my question isn't sarcastic.

yeah at the absolute worst hardy did exactly what he was supposed to do given who he was lining up against in those two games

just saying guys the panthers might be pretty good at rushing the passer.
