Canes vs rags rd 2 game 5 7pm

If we get through the first even or better then I think we’ll win. Have a feeling New York is going to try to put the hammer down early.

I wouldn’t even try to match their intensity because it’ll be tiresome. Just play smart hockey in the first and then turn it on in the final two frames.

Somehow win tonight and this series has a good chance to go 7 where anything can happen. will be an extremely tough test tonight though, probably the toughest game of the entire Rod era. Personally I'd go with Koochie but it'll prob be Freddie. Expecting a loss tonight so I don't get upset if it happens, but if we did somehow do the impossible and reverse sweep these fugers it'll be the happiest I've been about sports maybe ever (wasn't following the canes closely for our cup win otherwise that's obviously #1). Making the SB in '15 is up there right now but this could surpass that, especially if we can continue the run into the cup finals

Keeping my word and not watching. I’ll wake up early and skip through the replay. Rod went with…Freddie. So, we will see what happens. Rags will be bring some intensity tonight to try and close this out in front of all the hedge fund managers and C-list entertainers.

Amazing what can happen when you shoot and not constantly pass.

Some of that had to do with Rods hard headed not adjusting, the way he had the PP set up it was impossible to get a bomb like that off on a one timer....

The perimeter passing does not require a lot of movement by the D. Hence, the Rags and other teams who solved the Canes PP later in the season knew, a simple 4 man box clogging the middle would suffice.

If they get a high-low going with a decent bumper it requires the D to move more. Thrown in the occasional board pass that opens up that 1-timer. Just watch the Caps PP with #8 in his office. Even though everyone in a 20-mile radius knows he's going to shoot from there, somehow he's usually pretty uncovered when he does.
