I have made a ton of mistakes over the years but have never hit a woman. That isn't a mistake that is being a bully and hurting someone who is smaller than you. I have been married 37 years and have never hit my wife. It isn't that hard.

My fiancé is bigger than me. If a woman punches me, then I'm not going to sit there and get beat half to death. I would never throw the first punch, but I refuse to let society's view of the "helpless woman" dictate how I stand up for myself. A lot of women are more rough than men, and this is from a guy who has never been in a single fight. I hardly ever even get in verbal altercations.

True cause legally you can fight back after five hits but with some women out here you may be done after two.

Hardy is a selfish dude. Single handedly putting a bad name on the whole team.

Man, your being sensitive. Lol

The court system favors women to such a degree that even a mentally unstable coke snorting gold digger can ruin your life with no evidence.

Don't associate with women who do drugs.

Don't assiociate with women who are mentally ill or unstable.

Don't associate with gold diggers.

If a woman goes out of her mind in your vacinity, then run away immediatly. Don't touch her in any way. Don't try to calm her down or reason with her. She knows she can run to the courts and claim you assaulted her. Get the hell out of there. You hear crazy screaming in the next room, head for the ******* hills and call the police. Any tiny little bruise will bring a gavil down on your head.

Every male that is ever put in a situation with a female that is out of her mind -  The male should just get in a fetal position on the floor and let the female beat the hell out of him.

I can outrun any woman, period. Unless she's Olympic track star I'm gone. Run away. R-U-N-N-O-T-F.

I've dated a swimming world champion and one who competed in Beijing for the hammer throw. They could throw a punch that would put most men to shame. The swimmer I'm quite confident could carry me as far as I could carry her.

If you in a closed off enviroment where you can't run, and the woman is blocking the only way out...and she starts beating and scratching on you every time you get close to leaving?

I saw a ghetto fool beating on her bf outside of walmart one time.  She wasn't just slapping,  she was balling her freaking hand up into  fist  and just laying into his face,  this poor guy was taking a nasty beating...        she was screaming "GO ON AND HIT ME BACK, I DARE YOU, I'LL HAVE YOU THROWN IN JAIL SO FAST IT'LL MAKE YOUR HEAD SPIN"              He just stood there letting her pound on him,  he apparently knew he had no right to defend himself against the female.  By the time the police got there,  they were gone.

I followed what was being said on twitter and as someone who fancy's himself halfway knowledgeable about the justice system. I don't think the verdict will be the same with a jury.

Stop. Defending. Hardy. Because. He's. A. Panther.

Bottom line. There was enough evidence to convince the court and that's enough for me. This was no witch hunt. The man has the best lawyers money can buy and he still got popped. Accept that your favorite football player might not be such a good dude. He messed up and he'll pay the consequences. This doesn't mean you can't cheer for him on Sunday, but don't talk about somebody's character because they make different choices than you do. You can do all the coke you want but that doesn't mean somebody has a right to tell you they're going to kill you and rough you up. A lot of bad decisions made in this case and Hardy made his share. Rack it up.

So the judge found Hardy guilty based on the testimony of a "witness" who said she didn't actually see anything.

out of curiosity, does this at all void is franchise tag contract and the panthers can out right release hardy without owing him a dime. Not saying I want that to happen just want to know what the panthers options are.

Nope, they'd have to go to court for that but we do get credit against the 13 mil cap hit for every game he's suspended.

Good thing he went for a trail by juror, I'd be really surprised if multiple people actually thought there was enough evidence to convict him.

Don't know how much legal technicality JR or Goodell will accept but technically an appeal of a district court decision means that the case is now "de novo" which is basically Latin for "new." The guilty verdict from the judge is cleared and everything starts over. So although he was "convicted" he hasn't legally been convicted following his appeal. If due process is truly afforded by the team and the league then they will wait for the outcome of the jury trial before taking any type of action.
