This is what happens when you stay out of trouble. You earn your third Rookie of the Day Honor.

Hairston is averaging 17.2 PPG through five games, and was huge in the last two tournament games. Boy is impressing me so far!

His percentages have been pretty abysmal.

Its the SL so I wouldnt read to much into it.

his 3 ball is nice, but his efficiency and shot selection has been ugly in summer league.  i feel he will one day be an integral part of the hornets team, but he's got some time before he gets there.

I think he can step in right now and give us solid contribution. albeit streaky contribution.

One night be might be ice cold and the over night he might be on fire.

should balance out to a decent clip off the bench imo.

SL or not, he's showing a lot of comfortability shooting the ball with range. Either you have it or you don't. And, Hairston does.

Never have I seen Hendo played this kind of basketball before.

Yea but everyone knew before the draft PJ had range and no issues letting it fire.

Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that has heard of PJ Hairston before.

Dude is legit.

He definitely has the stroke.

But if his shot selectionand decision making does not improve, his minutes in a Clifford offense will be drastically reduced.

Summer League.

Nothing more than a glorified pickup game.

Bad shot selection is the norm in such an event.

I wouldnt read a whole lot into anything that transpires these 2 weeks.

The whole shot selection thing is overblown. When he is integrated into a actual veteran NBA roster it would not be like this, he will be given a role and told to follow it. Right now he is playing with guys fresh out of college and for his team are pretty terrible, you got to take the initiation to be the main scorer.

Exactly. Give credit to where it's due.

Hairston could be something great for this franchise. I think he's a legit 6th man this year. He could be Harden2.0 in his third year.

He's showing that nothing is too big for him. I love it.
