So how many people in this thread are aware we have discovered fire?

Who knew we had such model citizens here before this Hardy case.

I've heard this argument so many times, and it continues to piss me off each time. Sorry, but I've never been accused of allegedly assaulting a woman (crazy or otherwise). Nor have I ever been accused of doing anything close to the severity of what Hardy has. Maybe I've lived a boring life or something? Doesn't seem like it would be all that hard to NOT get wrapped up in all of this tbh....

Alcohol+Cocaine doesn't cause hallucination? Forget the cocaine, have you ever heard of drunk goggles? Alchohol and drugs alter perception and thinking. If you don't like the word hallucination, then apply a different one.

Don't forget the coke because when u mix that with alcohol, it tends to reduce the affects of drinking. What would be more likely to happen is that they cause her to be more aggressive.

To summarize, there are some placing all of the blame on her, and others placing none of the blame on her.

Of course, in reality, responsibility is split between the two. They both need help.

About the response I expected sadly. Instead of admitting that Hardy put himself in this situation (even if he didn't actually assault the girl), resort to memes....

Most logical/reasonable response in the entire six pages.

Of course you have this opinion because fame whores aren't trying to fug you. No one cares about you or what situations you put yourself in. Instead of looking at how slanted the NC legal system is you decide you need to stand up for the rights of women everywhere. While coming up with a well thought out response to another douche, like me, on the internet that I won't be able to sway on a message board I just decided to say, cool sorry bro and move on with the lulz

So it's not simple to dump a crazy chick completely (who you know is a drug user btw), instead of keeping her around to fug her? Am I to believe that Hardy couldn't find a new piece of ass after the two "ended it" during the Pro Bowl week? I'm not taking up for the victim at all, but I'm also not going to blindly defend Hardy just because he plays for this team either. Both have serious issues that need help. Assuming that you know enough about every single poster on a message board to say we have zero right to question Hardy's actions is asinine.

I'll go ahead and save you some time....

Of course it's messed up. Doesn't change my stance, though. Not everything is fair or right in life. It's still not worth putting yourself at risk. It's better to just walk away. Hardy could've easily replaced anything she broke and filed charges against her after the fact. He can't, however, change the public opinion on him now after the fact. Regardless of whether he is completely innocent or not.

Kind of like the thread on the man who died after being restrained and choked by the NYPD. Did the officers abuse their power and use unnecessary force? Yes. Should they be held accountable for his death? Yes. His family will sue and probably get a big chunk of money. Did the man have a right to be upset and feel he was being done wrong? Absolutely. Was it worth losing his life over? Hell no. Right or wrong, if police officers are going to arrest you it's best to just swallow your pride and comply. Nothing good comes from resisting arrest. Now I'm not saying it was his fault he died, the police should be held accountable for that. All I'm saying is that instead of just letting the officers arrest him peacefully without physical force being used, he made the conscious decision to be defiant and resist them. That decision unfortunately led to police officers using unnecessary force, which ultimately triggered an attack that caused his death.

The man wasn't even in the wrong by being upset and resisting them. Just like Hardy was probably justified in restraining that woman. However, you have to pick your battles in life. Sometimes it's better to just walk away from a situation and not fight, regardless of if you're in the right or not.

So basically you say life isn't equal or fair, but if someone steals from you or unlawfully arrests you or attacks you, you need to just take it in the ass and let the system figure it out later? That is quite the quagmire you've presented.
