Way too early to make a statement like that. Wont know for sure until mid season and that is with PJ getting enough consistent minutes to make a proper evaluation.

Wait, wait, wait...

I thought with your self-proclaimed superior player evaluation/scouting abilities, that it was a FACT that PJ was going to be our starting SG....?  Could it be that our coach, who is paid millions of dollars to make decisions like that, could possibly know more than you?  I hope PJ works out for us.  But I can't fault Clifford at all for limiting his role this season.

I said he should be by mid season if the coaches care about balancing our starting lineup.

But we all know coaches do not play the better player and/or players that balance the starting lineup. I know first hand as a UNC fan.

It is a FACT PJ is a much better deep shooter than Hendo.

Hollis Thompson is a much better deep shooter than Hendo.  Does that mean he should start over him if he were a Hornet?

Thompson is a 6ppg career scorer.

So no.

PJ will get you 15-22 ppg if given starter minutes while being a threat from downtown.

How do you know?  The guy hasn't played in a single NBA game.  He scored a decent amount of points in summer league, but he didn't shoot a high %.  Granted, maybe the defense was keying on him in a way they won't in regular season games (because we'll have Al, Kemba, Lance, etc out there) but I've noticed that you have a tendency to make predictions and pawn them off as statistical facts.

that would be hendo

Wow shocker another hendo hater, biggest brandwagon be a growing! Superj, given the 48 min per game, how many mins should PJ get with jeffy taylor, neal, hendo, and lance. No trading, just give the mins. Plus please rank the defense of said people plus PJ.

Lastly let's say PJ by some witchcraft gets around 25 mins per. In three games he shoots 1-13, 4-10, and 0-7. His defense is below average and the horents as a whole have a negtive output while he's on the court How happy are his teamates/coaches/fans?

How do I know? Well, lets just say it is an educated guess. Good shooter who isnt afraid to let his shot fire a ton a game. You do the math. Not even mentioning he has had a per or ppg of around 20 every year prior. Dude is a scorer plain and simple.

How can a prediction be pawned off as a statistical fact? lol That is impossible.  Ever considered you just take or misread someones opinion as a statistical fact?

Hendo is the worst player I've ever seen tbh

I believe if you ask every one of PJ's old coaches and teammates they will tell you PJ is a hell of a player and made their team better.

Are there really people here bothering to argue with a guy who thinks a 26th pick who shot 33% in the summer league is going to come in and average 20 ppg in the NBA as a rookie?

He was the best player in the draft talent wise.
