I would never ever rest starters, when the team has a bye week particularly. At most, they get most of the third Q and the whole 4th off. Kind of like the third preseason game.

i think we can rest guys like dangelo, smitty, hoover, peppers, beason and some of the linemen, but some of them need to play. especially jake. he looked like ass for 3 weeks after our bye. i dont even feel comfortable with the bye week for jake,

jake, the cornerbacks, godfrey, stewart, jarret and hackett all need to play a full game.

I said If-and that is a big if........................meaning I am not looking past the Giants game, I am simply asking what if.
