Thomas Davis's future replacement.

Shaq is not a jag, neither was Anderson.

I hate to do this but this is how EA rated Anderson prior to the 2011 season. Laugh all you want, but ratings are pretty much how the general public feels about a player.

Williams, and Senn were the jags of our LB crew, not Anderson.

Stats first?  Now Madden Ratings?

Yeah...We should just stop right here.

We are one of the oldest teams in the league for one. Number two we will have new ownership that will want to shape the team there way.

That will change after next year.  Davis, Adams, Peppers, Johnson, Stewart, and Kalil have left or will leave after next.

It wont require a complete rebuild to get younger, just getting younger at 5-6 spots.

It's not etched in stone that we have Peppers this year.

James Anderson was a good player. Better than current Shaq.

lol he was ok, but nowhere near worth the contract he got. he had been around for years prior to that and had been pretty pedestrian. those two years he produced,  he played on an incredibly bad defense with a REALLY bad DL in front of him. # of tackles were inflated and not at all sustainable.

hurney had money to spend and through it around a lot that year pretty carelessly.

Well yeah, he wasn’t a starter...

He put up good numbers when he became a full time starter. I wouldn’t have given him that contract though.

However, hindsight is 20/20. Thomas Davis was coming off a 3rd acl tear and we had no other capable olb.

That number includes an allocation of about 6 million for our draft picks.  So 30 million not counting those picks.

Where in the world did you get that from?  The cap number says in parentheses "top 51 only."  That would indicate to me that rookie contracts are not included.

That's quite a bit.

James Anderson was a JAG.

Stafford isn't a JAG, but he's also not a franchise quarterback.  He just gets paid like one.

Stafford is a good QB playing for terrible teams...bad chemistry...maybe too late to do anything about it...
