The message comes in an exchange between then-FBI lawyer Lisa Page and Strozk in August 2016, according to Rep. Jim Jordan, who has reviewed the inspector's general's report.

In the exchange, Page says to Strzok: “he’s not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” and Strzok replies: “No. No he’s not. We’ll stop it,” according to Jordan.

This latest revelation -- part of a tranche of previously unreleased texts between Strzok and Page -- will have the effect of pouring 20 gallons or so of lighter fluid on the fire that is already burning in Trumpworld over the Strzok-Page texts.

What cannot be disputed now is that Strzok, a senior FBI official involved in the investigations into Clinton's email server and Russian interference, wrote a text in the midst of the probes (and the election) that said Trump wouldn't win because "we'll stop it."

That's pretty damning stuff -- especially in a vacuum.

And then on page 161:

Nevertheless, we found that Page’s statement, on its face, consisted of a recommendation that the Midyear team consider how Clinton would treat the FBI if she were to become President in deciding how to handle Clinton’s interview. Suggesting that investigative decisions be based on this consideration was inappropriate and created an appearance of bias.

And then on page 420-421:

We were deeply troubled by text messages sent by Strzok and Page that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations.

. . . when one senior FBI official, Strzok, who was helping to lead the Russia investigation at the time, conveys in a text message to another senior FBI official, Page, that “we’ll stop” candidate Trump from being elected — after other extensive text messages between the two disparaging candidate Trump — it is not only indicative of a biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate’s electoral prospects. This is antithetical to the core values of the FBI and the Department of Justice.

more from report.

Moreover, given the FBI’s extensive resources, the fact that Strzok and several other FBI members of the Midyear team had been assigned to the Russia investigation, which was extremely active during this September and October time period, was not an excuse for failing to take any action during this time period on the Weiner laptop. ... In assessing the decision to prioritize the Russia investigation over following up on the Midyear-related investigative lead discovered on the Weiner laptop, we were particularly concerned about text messages sent by Strzok and Page that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions they made were impacted by bias or improper considerations. Most of the text messages raising such questions pertained to the Russia investigation, and the implication in some of these text messages, particularly Strzok’s August 8 text message (“we’ll stop” candidate Trump from being elected), was that Strzok might be willing to take official action to impact a presidential candidate’s electoral prospects. Under these circumstances, we did not have confidence that Strzok’s decision to prioritize the Russia investigation over following up on the Midyear-related investigative lead discovered on the Weiner laptop was free from bias.”

Menacing!  They will stop it!

THey probably voted and were active in their personal lives for hilary.  The report concluded political bias did not effect their work.  Do you have anything that proves that incorrect?

Yeah and 2 senior FBI officials involved in the investigation calling Trump supporters “sad, stupid, and fugging retarded”. Yeah no political bias there. Pretty telling the FBI didn’t give these documents to congress. I wonder why.

FBI agents are Americans.  They vote.  They have political opinions.  And when Mike The Situation or Flava Flav runs for POTUS they likely will have opinions on it.   Far from a a massive scandal.  Trump and Trumpers are stupid.  Who wants an FBI that doesn’t know water is wet?

a bad look? Sure.

and as the IG said, he found no actual political bias and that the FBI hurt Hillary (not Trump)

and the text were shared with Congress.  The we will stop him one just found a a couple weeks ago.
