The draft on the other hand is one of the deepest for QBs in years. Even without a 1st round pick there will be good options in the 2nd, possibly even 3rd rounds. We just have to pick the right guy.

Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford issued a release stating that he will have surgery on his shoulder this week and that he'll enter the NFL Draft in April. Though, as The Oklahoman states, Bradford entering the draft is contingent upon successful surgery.

There's an article on a news site about how the Panthers could end up with Bradford. Of course, it names a bunch of other teams too, but it talks about how Hurney will probably try to trade up to grab him in the middle of the first round.
Trade up with WHAATTT?????
Hurney WONT be here!

With what? I don't know, our roster full of talent as well as draft picks.
Also, I would be pretty surprised if the Big Cat got rid of the regime unless there is a huge meltdown.
EDIT: I am not saying Bradford is worth a trade, just that we could possibly move up into the middle of the first to grab a QB if we really end up thinking we have a good one available there.

Colts - Manning
Giants - Manning
Chargers -Rivers
Falcons - Ryan
Saints - Brees
Patriots - Brady
Ravens - Flaco
Steelers - Big Ben
Bengals - Palmer
Jets - Sanchez
Cowboys - Romo
Bears - Cutler
Packers - Rodgers
Chiefs - Cassel
Eagles - McNabb
I don't know about the Raiders, Bills, I'd say the Seahawks are set with Hasselbeck but it is injured. The Bucs just drafted Freeman. I think the Redskins would look for a new QB. But out of the list I would go with Jake Locker. Maybe Hurney knew what he was doing.

That free agent pool is mighty sparse.
If there is no salary cap next year there will be quite a few overpaid busts being cut, J. Russel a likely cut maybe Vince Young. Who knows what will happen come March.
