Looks like we might sneak this game if we keep playing hard.

hell of a comeback, but you always worried the guys are worn out after having to stop them on that many possessions in a row (went on a 17-1 run)

i think they have to bottle up ginobili, duncan doesn't seem to be doing well in his matchup against chandler/nazr and parker hasn't hurt us much tonight

They've got the Spurs in foul trouble, and that's a big key to stopping any team.

We don't have the shooters they have.... we have too many streaky shooters and not enough clutch guys.

The Spurs core has been together longer than any in the NBA too I think.

Tyson Chandler - 4 points 2 rebounds 8 turnovers 4 fouls 21 minutes

don't want to hear anything about him learning the system, being out of shape or coming back from injury anymore. he's not a fourth of the player Okafor was.

Sadly, all we did in the Okafor trade was send a bad contract to the Hornets for a shorter bad contract with Chandler. Word out of New Orleans is that the Hornets are shopping Okafor for a contract that expires this season. It's sad, but that's how contracts work in the NBA. If you are dissatisfied with the performance per dollar ratio, then you simply ship them out for an inferior player with a more cap friendly contract. It makes zero sense from an asset management standpoint, but the NBA is the NBA. You can correct a bad contract by moving it for a shorter but worse contract.

Still, make no mistake that Okafor is not a 6 year - $72 million player. He's at 11 points and 10 boards this year which is even under his career average. I think the Bobcats were hoping for him to take that next step and become a 20 and 10 player but it just didn't happen so they bought out while the buying was good.
