But this is the first time Fox gets a late show with everything pre done.

Huge win for Fox. How the CEO's of NBC and GE survive this is beyond me.

On the heels of last night's NBC-dissing monologue, the current host of The Tonight Show has released a statement saying he has no interest in continuing with the long-running franchise if it means pushing the show to a later time slot and once again following Jay Leno.

Jay Leno took a shot at Conan, which probably pissed him off...

"NBC stands for 'Never Believe your Contract'"

O'Brien released the statement below on Tuesday afternoon:

People of Earth:

In the last few days, I've been getting a lot of sympathy calls, and I want to start by making it clear that no one should waste a second feeling sorry for me. For 17 years, I've been getting paid to do what I love most and, in a world with real problems, I've been absurdly lucky. That said, I've been suddenly put in a very public predicament and my bosses are demanding an immediate decision.
