What really did them in was not paying for the exclusive rights to release GTA as a PS game only. They don't have games that draw the online crowd like Halo/GOW. The only thing keeping them afloat imo is Metal Gear Solid (whos head producer I read is working w/ Microsoft for the next halo).

The nail in the casket was when it was announced that the new Final Fantasy would be on Xbox as well as Ps3.

I wouldn't say PS3 is dead yet. But if they wanna' have the high-rolling-big-baller status in the industry, this year is definitely the year to do it.

I just ordered a ps3 (w/ a $150 discount) and due to the lack of games (my lack of games, I only ordered SOCOM and MGS4) I'll probably just use it as a media-center for blu-rays, netflix, hulu, and other video-related content.
