Apparently there was also a pitch made for a crossover between Ghost Rider and Casper the Friendly Ghost (link).

They never fought in Superman/Batman either.


Superman/Batman #2. Superman comes back from the future, kicks Batman's ass inside the bat cave. knocks him across the room effortlessly, near death, picks up the batmobile and is about to smash him like a bug with it before present Superman stops him.
