Yeah because they have Mike Miller committed to a salary if James elects to play with the Heat.

true- but maybe we are just trying to clear Chandler off the books and move Beasly for a PG.. New Orleans would be more willing to part with CP3 for Beasley than anything else out there.. hmmm...

If this is what we're doing then I'm all for it. There is still a lot of potential in Beasley. He just can't settle down. Maybe if LB got a hold of him he could talk some sense into him. He is pretty good at that.

Beasley would also gives us more point production as he would be the 5th Bobcat on the roster that averages double-digits in points

"S-Jax"- 21.1
"G-Force"- 18.2
Beasley- 14.8
Diaw- 11.3
"TNT"- 10.1

There is 75.5 points right there. Just what the Doc ordered.

It's where point guards go to die.

I'd be prepared to see Thomas somewhere else if this trade goes down, just sayin'.

I would rather have Thomas than Beasley- no question..
we need to keep him more than we need to get Chandler off the books..

I agree, Tyrus Thomas is one of the hardest working players in the NBA and more importantly he wants to be a Bobcat.

If we can get Beasley then it really wouldn't bother me to see Thomas go someplace else, especially if we could work out a sign-and-trade with him. Beasley is a viable option at PF himself and most importantly, he's cheaper. It would suck to get only a half-season's worth of production out of a first round pick, but poo happens.
