3 years at $7 million per; reports say. does anybody know what charlotte was offering? just curious. I don't think he's worth the minimum, imo

On a personal level I'm sorry to see him go, but there was no other choice.

Best of luck Ray, thanks for the memories.

A 3 year deal tells us that the Knicks, just like the rest of us, are concerned about tying up lots of money in Felton on a long-term deal.

Actually I believe 3 years at 7 million was our offer to him last year and he rejected it if I am not mistaking.

It was something along those lines. Maybe 6 mil a year.

All this money that NBA athletes make is downright ridiculous. While I am not in their position, I would think that if I were, I would take 6 mil a year to stay in Charlotte versus getting a 15% raise to play in New York.

I agree 100% because if he doesn't play well than prepare to get ridiculed.

I dont know if I'd take 6 mill to stay here, but I agree with you in that I wouldnt want to play in New York. I really wouldnt want to play in any of those big, major market teams.

Plus Charlotte is home for Felton.

How many of us would move 500 miles for a 15% raise?

I am also happy for Felton, but I hope he knows what he got himself into. I was i NY when Thomas was still coaching and I have never heard so much hate in my life. I just hope they accept Felton up there.
