Profootballtalk.com reports that the Bengals and Rams are not the only teams in pursuit of free agent Terrell Owens.
The other unnamed teams are reportedly just not showing "the same level of urgency." Meanwhile, Bengals owner Mike Brown spoke at length Monday of signing T.O. "I'd like to have him on our side of the ball compared to the other side," said Brown. "He can change field position. He makes big plays."

Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Rams have decided to pass on the idea of signing free agent Terrell Owens.
FOX Sports' Jay Glazer seconds the report. Rams brass convened Monday to discuss Owens' fit in St. Louis, and decided against adding the perceived locker-room cancer to one of the league's youngest offenses. The Rams will move forward with Donnie Avery and Laurent Robinson as their starting wideouts. The Bengals are now the clear-cut favorites to sign Owens.

And if it worked out well and we wanted to keep him, then its a win-win. That would give us true DEPTH at WR and Lafell or Edwards can become the Ricky Proehl type from 03, with viable #4 and #5 WRs also.
