The best player in MLB for the last decade (and only 30).
Just hit his 400th home-run, 3rd youngest to that point. I hope he ends up breaking records. He may be on pace to be best pure hitter ever.
10 straight years with 32+ homers, 100+ RBI, and no lower than a .314 average in all of those years. ROTY award, 3 MVP's, 1 World Series Ring, 1 Gold Glove, 9 All-Star games, 1 batting championship, 1 HR championship.
He also hardly misses games, I think he's played like 143+ games each season.
And he's still with his original team. He's just a class act of a player and athlete.

Please excuse me while I am still a bit skeptical.......
Not his fault, just the way it is. He is the best player in baseball though. Guy is a monster. Hope nothing negative ever clouds how good he is.

He seems more worthy of that record than any of the others that have done it or come close so far...

He is amazing.
And I share JR's opinion on his medicine cabinet.

Some of the people he has been associated with, trainers and sports medicine people, have been associated with the PED crowd.
Guilt by association, which is unfair, but there it is.

Only baseball player I 100% believe did not take roids is David Eckstein, although I firmly believe that he was popping amphetamines while they were allowed just like everyone else so there goes that.
They say 2010 is the year of the pitcher but in reality it is the year without amphetamines. Amazing what those little pills will do.
