they let peppers walk and get nothing for him, but jarret they get greedy over?

They franchised him the first year because they didn't want to let him go.

Franchising him again would have been the only way to keep him, and the cost was just too high.

All this said the kid has said nothing against the team and has (other than suspected playbook learning problems) been pretty professional.

Not sure I agree after reading this line:

“I don’t want the fans to think it could be me, because it’s really not me. It’s just, I don’t know, it’s one of those type of situations.

Translation: "It couldn't possibly be my fault."

To which I'd respond "It most assuredly could."

Dwayne Jarrett ....one of the worst draft picks in Panthers history. Now show me some numbers or some team willing to prove otherwise. Stop making excuses for the guy, he has had 3+ years to prove himself.
