how to describe the panthers' noffense in one sentence: first and beer, carolina. the beer comes into play because we very rarely do anything positive on first down, and that buggers us the rest of the series. if we're lucky, we simply don't gain any yardage.

I honestly do think we'll win, but I've said that for 4 of our 5 games so far this season... So yeah.

I think we got this one won guys. The Bye is just what we needed and we are hungrey for a win. Might be Moore starting, but probably not.

Looking forward to seeing the top 2 MLBs play in this game. Besides Beason is playing out of position and is still the real deal. I wonder if P. Willis could do that? Probably so.

But anyways, We will get 3-4 picks and hopefully capitalize off at least 1 of them. Our D has been ball hawking this year and our run D has been real besides the fluke last week.

If we can contain Gore and our run game improves significantly we should win this one. Hopefully davidson can run more than 5 plays this week if we wanna score some Offensive points!

49ers will win the game but the Panthers have the better LB in Beason.

Well my vote has changed. With Matt Moore starting, you silly 49ers don't stand a chance.

It's close but no way Beason is better than Patrick Willis!

:D we shouldn't even show up now, Moore will embarrass the 49ers...

Watching Beason and Willis play defense would be worth admission to this one in itself! Agreed?

Well. Moore does have one thing going for him. Our season is pretty much over. When nothing is on the line, Moore can play great football. He can air it out and take chances like Delhomme did. Throw it up, close his eyes, pray one of his guys brings it down and not a defender.

I'd have stuck with Clausen. One horrible game against the Bears. I still think Clausen was intimidated by Peppers. Peppers has that affect on Qbs sometimes. The 9ers have no one as intimidating to a Panthers qb as the 6'7 Peppers, on their Dline.

Absolutely! No way I can make this trip, but I'm looking forward to seeing them both play, without having to whip my head around to the other 30 screens showing games.

Slightly off-topic: any chance/history of players defecting to the other team during a game? (Would love to have Willis, how much to get him?)

We appear to have players defecting to the other team every game.

We just gave him a 5 year 50 million dollar extention lmao! I wouldn't take 2 1st round picks for Willis. Not only is he the leader of our defense but he's the face of our franchise... It would be like the Panthers letting Peppers get away.... Oh wait lol.... on top of him being a great player, he's a great person, truely a class act.

So did our chances of winning increase or decrease now that Moore will be starting for the Panthers?
