If we had lost the arizone game 20-21 would all of you still be wanting someone to burn at the stake ?

I don't think you would.

I've wanted Turd canned for years. The Arizona game just put a spotlight on all the things I hate about his defense.

That really depends on how the score came to be 20-21. If we played like complete ass... I would still be concerned. If we played damned good football and they simply played 1 point better... then hell no I would not be as pissed off as I am now.

No I would have been just happy that our Defense managed to keep the other team to 20 points.

If the game had been that close, it would've shown they got their act together from the previous high scores we'd allowed (Saints, Giants, Green Bay, etc). I would've been depressed we lost a close game but at least we would've played tight.

Yes, because Peppers would still want out even if lost by one. But I don't care. I am gonna give turd one more chance before I call ed reed and tell him I have a bounty on turds head.

If it had been competitive? Probably not. But I'm not sure about the question. This happens in every part of life. Do a bad job, lose your job. Lose the raise you just got. Lose the promotion you just got. If the war had gone the way Bush wanted there would still be people who would have wanted him out. It one thing to lose with honor and dignity, it is a whole other thing to be blown out and not even look to be trying. And it wasn't the first time this past season.

This.
In the last 7 games of the season, including playoffs our defense gave up 45, 31, 23, 10, 34, 31, 33 points.
Jake had a bad last game, the defense had a bad last half.

Jake had less TD passes in the 2nd half of the season, but threw more INT's in the second half of the season.

His completion % was higher though in the second half.

So really he didn't exactly have a stellar year.

I do agree though, trust me, our defense is a bigger issue than Jake's play.

If we had lost the first Arizona game we would be chattering about beating the Steelers in the Super Bowl right now. :)

I'd still want Turdo gone. I probably wouldn't have been so angry at Delhomme though, provided he didn't turn the ball over 6 times.

:iagree: The big issue I have is not that the Panthers lost, (yes that did suck), but how they lost. They laid an egg, and were horrible!! I thought this Panther team was past that, but apparently not.

did we play hard or collapse in the 4th quarter and give up 21 unanswered points?
