Just remember, as Baltimore beats the crap out of us this weekend, that their QB and Edwards had a few matchups during their college careers. And guess who won?

Yes and then you can think about how that thought has absolutely nothing to do with anything because:

1. QBs don't directly play each other
2. Delaware Blue Hens =/= Baltimore Ravens
3. FCS isn't the NFL
4. Armanti Edwards could see over his college offensive line

AE couldnt clean the dog poo off of vicks cleats

No one can clean off the blood, the bullet cartridges, the saliva from dogs being choked to death, the guilt that he has never had, the decency that he lacked as a human, the empathy he should have had.

Sup faggits.

You dine on what? And you are telling people because you want to come out now? Well, good for you. All you Tarhole Nebraska people need to do that.

Talk to Carolina Husker, sounds like you two would get along REAL well.

Answer to #1: It is competition against each other at different times.
Answer to #2: No one said Delaware was the Baltimore Ravens, but their QB played QB for them almost his entire first year in the NFL.
Answer to #3: True, FCS isn't the NFL, FCS uses more common sense and expects production out of their QB's, unlike what we have seen with the Panthers this year.
Answer to #4: No....Armanti could not see over his college offensive line, they were taller than he is. Just like in the NFL.

It would take 4 games for him to throw for 191 yards

It only took Jimmy 4 games as well :) and he needed the help of a prevent defense!

This thread is stupid. Our coaching staff is too idiotic to even consider playing AE so it does not really matter in the first place.

whats wrong with you everybody knows they won't start armanti because he's black

Fox hates Armanti Edwards. Sounds like he is a "traditional" coach. Probably wouldn't have a running, throwing QB because they might make a play instead of doing what they are told. Makes the coach look bad.

I am pretty much in the same boat as you. I've been to every playoff game since 2005 and numerous home games. There was a drastic improvement in his ability to throw the ball from his freshman year to the senior year. He is willing to get his nose on the grind stone and work on things he needs to improve. All I've ever heard from people on the inside is that the kid is humble too. He might not be the greatest ever, but he is a good human being and doesn't deserve the trash he gets.

You went on the road with the Panthers for their 3 playoff games in 2005?
Impressive.

Honestly, with Vicks performance last night I figured there would be a dozen threads on the front page about how he needs to play QB for us because he was better at App than Vick was at VT. Instead, all morning and nada.

I'm really disappointed. In both of you.

Who would the both be?

I'm just going to ask a question, I really mean no disrespect or sarcasm in any way.

Armanti "Homers", at least what I can tell by the bulk of their posts, seem to write as if his "Haters" actually hate Armanti Edwards.

Do any of you unsupportive of him playing QB actually "hate" the man like others have made it sound like? Or just favor the fact that he was drafted to play WR, and all his time should be used learning his new position? That would not be unreasonable at all.

Personally, this is how I look at it. We know Armanti Edwards is an athlete, whether at QB or WR. As a 2nd round pick (technically 3rd), and due to the current disaster of a season, why not see just what we have in this project? Get him 5-10 snaps a game behind center and see what he can do with just a couple plays practiced as a quarterback. If we don't try something, we will never know just what we have. If it's disaster, then the experiment is over with and he goes back to WR core and as a return man. If he makes the most of his chances, then we at the very least have something entertaining to look forward to on Sunday's. Armanti making a couple plays with with arm and legs would benefit everyone on this offense.

This being said, it could just be Fox and Davidson and company throwing in the towel and once again showing their stubbornness to try something new and unpredictable.

Though difficult to determine without having any certainty of who our next Head Coach will be, do you think the next man will at least incorporate AE into the offense in more ways than just one? After all, he is under contract and cheap.
