A power running game that doesn't run dive plays on 1st and 2nd down every time. Also, would be nice to see some passes that aren't check downs. I am not asking for much ....

After several years of rather boring run-up-the-gut-no-matter-the-down-and-distance football, I'de like to see a radical shift to the following:

1) Once a game, just punt on third down. It's not like we can make third down conversions anyway and nobody would see it coming.
2) Do a college style option play. We might go through a few QBs but we do that anyway.
3) More laterals. Adds to the excitement.
4) More "grape" style plays where we put all the receivers in the middle of the field and just chuck the ball in that general direction.
5) Hook and ladder
6) More personal fouls. I doubt the 5K matters that much to their checkbooks and it would do wonders for our reputation as mean bastards.
7) Give everyone on the offense the chance to pass the ball. I bet Smitty could throw it a good 45 yards if given the chance.
8) Institute mandatory dancing on the sideline when we score (even a field goal)

Given our personnel, I think we will stick with a run-based attack but I'd like to see us work the TE into the passing game much more and give Rosario an expanded role.

Watch every Patriots and Chargers game, and do what they do.

Link to what we are supposed to be running, but really suck at....

A competent one. I'm just so beyond fed up with watching gridiron buffoonery from millionaires.

An offense that doesn't keep the defense on the field for the entire 60 minutes.

In the Fox era we've been using a stripped down version of the Coryell offense. Basically, it's a power running game with a vertical passing attack, and the only difference between what Coryell ran in the 70s and what we've been doing under Fox is Coryell used more receivers.

I'm assuming that most people here would like to see a more wide-open offense. Are you looking for a Martz-type system (Coryell taken to the outer limits), a west coast offense, or something out of left field? What do you think?

just tired of these short, run dominated games, I want to see us air it out more often

I want offense that can come back from 14 point fourth quarter deficit and win by 7. And one that doesn't get 3 point lead and sit on it.

A Bully offense, one that imposes it's will on every defense that challenges it. One that dictates the game and when other teams look at their schedules and see Carolina Panthers they get a lump in their throats!

I would draft cam newton and run whatever offense the old Houston Oilers ran with Warren Moon. They threw it all over the place, That would be fun.

any offense where I'm not 100% sure where the ball is going - simply by looking at the formation and personel.
