Humans are greedy, thats what happens when we have the first pick in the draft. We wonder about all possible scenarios including trading Nick Hayden to the Vikings for their washing machine.

Hey nick hayden played 1000000x's better this year just saying.

If we were just satisfying the Rooney rule, we'd just interview Meeks. Flying in Rivera is legit.

Or we're bringing in Rivera under the notion that he's interviewing for the HC job with the intent to offer him the DC job after we tell him someone has already accepted our offer for the HC job... this kind of thing happens quite a bit.

If he turns us down, then at worst we've satisfied the Rooney rule.

He has improved a lot but this is a high class industrial washer here. Jerry is watching his bottom line here. He had to refinish the dock at his Lake Norman home in Elephant Ivory

It's a legit smokescreen before we hire Russ Grimes.

What significance does this have, if any?

Rivera is a legitimate candidate for the HC job

Don't be upset if Tuesday rolls around to find we hired him

These are exciting times right now and while most of us want Harbaugh I think we'd be happy with Rivera if things fell through. I do think we are getting a little carried away with the whole Rivera and Harbaugh thing but does anyone know if they have any previous ties? Maybe harbaugh asked for him...nah...that's just crazy.

Like someone already said, stuff like this just doesn't happen to our franchise...we will end up with Grimm and Luck will stay in school. Mark it down...lol.

Our FO never hires/drafts anyone that they are officially looking at. So, anyone who is 'brought in' is off the list.

I wouldn't be upset with Rivera, he certainly has the credentials.

I'm mostly interested in seeing Harbaugh leave Stanford, since that will drop Luck right in our laps.

The LaCanfora tweet about that fact that we haven't contacted any NFL teams for permission to interview current staff makes me thing Harbaugh is all the more likely.

For those that didn't see it, LaCanfora said an hour ago that we haven't contacted any teams to interview any candidates yet... Although we didn't for Capers either, lol.

Marty Hurney agrees with LaCanfora, says nothing is set up yet
