I have met quite a few, including Heisman winners, actors, politicians and musicians, but two of the genuinely most friendly are actor Tommy Lee Jones and ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons.

Jimmy Carter and Ted Kennedy are also notable for me. Psychopaths, but notable.

I worked at a hotel that hosted a celebrity golf tournament and the Willie Stargill Foundation golf tournament. It's more like, what embarrassing things have I seen.

(And why I wasn't smart enough to snag the pillows after they left and Ebay 'em.)

Met Jimmy Carter too (knew I was forgetting someone).

Also Robert Byrd, Jay Rockefeller, heck about every WV governor, senator and congressman from the 70s through the 90s I guess.

For athletes, Pete Rose, Joe Morgan, Johnny Bench, Tom Seaver, Tony Armus and manager Sparky Anderson. If I remember right, Joe Garagiola was there too.

Also met Randy Savage - and his brother Lanny Poffo - before he was famous (and insane).
