Carolina Panthers Mt. Rushmore??

Recommended Posts

To be honest, only Sam Mills and Steve Smith would be worthy of something like that. Moose? Nope, he left. Kasay? No, you're not putting any kicker on a Panther Mt. Rushmore. Richardson? I guess, but I would hate a non-player. Minter? Was never a dominant player. Greene? No lasting impact. Beuerlein? LOL. Beason? Maybe one day. Peppers? Why put him on if he doesn't want to be here? Delhomme? Not good enough.

So we still have two spots available. I bet if we did this ten years from now you could put Beason on it at least.

How can you have a Panthers Mr. Rushmore without Zod?...

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (Exodus 20:4-6)

Sam Mills. Thats it. The team has been around for 15 years and it is way too soon to put anyone other than Mills, the only player in the Hall of Honor, on a "Panther's Mount Rushmore." And according to the Panthers Mike McCormick would probably be more deserving than JR as far as a non-player. A lot of people give JR the credit for bringing the NFL to the Carolinas but in reality he was mainly just the finanical backer that was a former player. I'm not trying to take anything away from JR but McCormick gets overlooked a lot by the fans and derserves more respect.
