i remember looking at pics from camp last year and seeing the visual of him getting good seperation from dbs. i knew this would translate well onto game day, but he was not giving the chance. you cannot expect someone to get better without seeing the field or getting the reps.

plus him cutting his hair just took 5 pounds of his head, therefore making him faster. dreads are heavy.

the db is playing at least 8 yards off the ball, with inside leverage. armanti still runs by him, and makes a nice catch plus decent ball by cam. if he threw that more to the inside a FS would be able to make a play. he made that throw so only the wr can make a play or nobody.

I graduated from WCU and hated Armanti, but had a chance to talk to him after an OTA and he was a great guy. Shy, humble. I was impressed with his speed-from 0 to full speed as fast as anyone I have ever seen. I asked him specifically about route running. He explained that he never knew how complicated it was, and it was what he was working on the most. He threw in catching punts in the same breath.

He gave my 13 year old son his gloves, and autographed them. "Them ain't worth much right now." I told him that they are to my son. I added that we don't ebay. (by the way, the gloves were small-he has little hands)

I walked away feeling that we had something special in Gettis and Edwards. At the time, Gettis was a longshot to make the team. Aside from Smith, these two guys were the most impressive athletes on the team that day.

This year, we have better athletes. Cam. Nuff said. Olsen-6'5" 258 can catch anything near him and runs a 4.5--really? Freakish. Hogan will amaze as well; he is a stud, but needs to get over the knee.
