Zod, keep in mind the youngers are just kids and the olders are young adults.
Anyway if they are playing well they can do all kind of celebration i don't care.

Cam's celebration wasn't that elaborate. I doubt he practiced it all night.

As long as the offense keeps scoring, they can do all the TD dances they want.:thumbsup::cam:

people who celebrate TDs aren't lame...

people who think they need to temper how someone else reacts to a TD, they are the lame ones... get over yourselves

go watch a chess match if you want plain and emotionless winning

Nope, didn't care for them. I'm not an adolescent.

Football is a team sport. Preplanned celebrations do nothing more than try to bring individual attention on yourself when it took a group effort to get you there.

Amateur.

Always thought Smittys were really bad.....tried way too hard. The simple ball spin every time is much better. "changing a diaper"......dumb.

Rowing the Love Boat after the Vikes incident was a classic though...

EDIT: I see CatsGrowl already beat me to the LoveBoat celebration...swag for him!

Yeah, and American Idol is the most watched show on television.

I may be in the minority, but that only tells me I am right.

:cheers2::biggrin:

If your logic is sound, then TRD is the only person right about Cam.

Showboating = Amateur hour.

Only tells me either:

a) You don't get many touchdowns to be that excited

or

B) You think way too highly of yourself, and not enough of your team.

Well we know:

a)Cam has had plenty of Touchdowns as a football player.

b)Cam is a team first football player. You dont see very many rookies command the respect that he does.

The kid loves the game, and when he scores hes excited. If you scored Zod you would celebrate? You would jog to the sidelines and give some high fives?

Any preplanned celebration is fugging lame.

Genuine unbridled enthusiasm and excitement is fine. Go ahead and jump around, slap helmets, etc.

But once you get into your choreographed pre planned vain attempt to impress someone, its amateur hour. Its sad when a TD is a big deal for you, it should be commonplace.

Lame.

Over the top celebrations are bush. So is dumping the Gatorade on the coach. So is going nuts over a routine first down catch, just make the play.

Save the over the top celebrations for over the top plays.

Depends on the player. Smitty's "I'm on that lake" canoe was awesome considering it was the week of the Vikings sex boat scandal.

I have a 24x30 autograghed picture of that in my office.

I would suggest players only celabrate if they're having a winning season and they must be winning the game, and you better make sure it doesn't cost your TEAM 15 yards on the next kick off.

I can see the headlines now. Panthers QB in jail for shooting during a TD celebration. But it was worth it because he scored.

hmmmmm were you one of the victims?
