I don't know how good with Cam be.
Yes, I knew of my error even b4 you. And it was my 1st thread ever, LOL. Its tough driving and typing at the same time. I guess I just had a little more attention to the driving than the typing

Seriously, how good would Cam be without Smitty on the field in his rookie season. I'm just saying as awesome as Cam has been, what a gift he has in Smitty. Long term his talent is just too good not to stand out, but without Smitty on the field in his rookie year, things likely would be much different for Cam and the Panthers. Thank God we didn't trade him.
I think it's the other way around. Smitty is more than happy to have Cam as a Panther. Judging by the past few games, Cam has been distributing the ball to almost everyone. And many of them have stepped up and delivered. But it is always good to know that he does have a "go to" guy just like the other QBs.
IMO, it's good to have a rookie QB who is confident enough in his game that he doesn't have to lean on one receiver on his team. He knows he will make mistakes but leaning on all of his receivers, even when they don't always deliver, can only make them feel relevant and hopefully step up their game.
