I can see how we wouldn't pull the trigger on this trade for a 3rd and a 5th. When you figure that is more than Boldin was traded for to Baltimore IIRC and it's more than Smitty's price when he was being shopped back in the spring, it seems rather steep. A fifth or even a fourth alone, yeah I think it would make sense. But a 3rd and a fifth ?? How about a 5th and conditional 7th in a subsequent year? Perhaps, if we could negotiate a long term deal with favorable terms.

Will we do it? We don't need to, and that is the point. If we could get him in a good trade and could negotiate favorably contract terms, it might make sense. But Hurney isn't feeling that picking Lloyd up is a priority, so he isn't going to reach for him. He likely feels that he can do without him if it comes down to a bidding contest. Who knows really.

I don't expect us to ever bring in anyone, anytime. Up until this year we hadn't traded for many impact players since Harris. So when we traded for Olsen I was very happy. Surprised but pleased. So if we end up with Lloyd, I would be surprised and happy. I am surely not expecting anything especially if Rivera denies it. He wouldn't smokescreen.

Should we? Yes. Simple as that. Dude makes plays, and he makes big plays. I personally don't know why the fug Denver keeps putting talented players on the trade block.

I think we all know that we should've also done a lot of things personnel wise but I think we all also know that the FO and RR aren't giving up draft picks for players, especially when they like the way this passing game is playing right now.

I don't see why Marty and Rivera wouldn't at least look into this. I don't see how you pass up on a guy like Lloyd, lord knows we need another wr. Let's face it, Nanee is NOT a starter, he's a 3rd receiver at best.

broncos are asking way too much for him.

dude is not a reliable receiver. he won't fix things here. he is far from a guarantee to make things better. he's too expensive to try and find out.

people pay waaaaayyyyy too much attention to his stats last year and him being a pro-bowler which is supposed to mean that he's some kind of super talented guy but all it does is overrate him.

still....we aren't interested and for good reason. move along.
