Guys this is just a hypothetical

If losing next week somehow guaranteed the number one pick would you want us to lose?

Win as much as possible since yes-man Hurneya will screw up the draft anyway. Probably draft a player from Elon or WCU and leave them on the roster taking up a spot and flat out cut either Stewart or Smitty to make room for him. Complete dumbass in charge at 800 South Mint Street for sure.

Even if we had the #2 overall we may be able to trade it to a team needing a QB since the top 2 picks are going to be a QB this year.

Or should be at least.

I'd rather just lose from a strategy wise, but fan and competitive wise I want a win :(

Best case scenario would be us getting #1, Colts getting #2, and them giving us their #2 plus multiple future 1's and 2's, so that we can get Kalil and a bunch of defensive studs over the next 3 years.

Championship!

We are going to destroy the Colts.

Not a question in my mind. Mark it down in the W column.

lol well it's not like people actually wanted this before the season started. I'm sure everyone would have loved to see a playoff run. At this point you can't really pull for the team to tank the season, they've already done that. The season has been in the crapper for awhile now, the only debate is whether you want to salvage a few moral victories or a higher draft pick

I understand wanting a higher draft pick, but the whole point of being a fan is to support the team and root for wins. Wanting to lose is the exact opposite of that.

And how many seasons are people going to want to lose? People wanted to lose last season saying all we needed was a QB. We get one, but have no depth on the team and injuries kill us. If something happens next season and we suck are people gonna want to tank then too? Just seems stupid to me

I want us to win I just think getting that #1 pick and pulling off a huge trade would net us more wins in the long run than one or two more pointless moral victories in this train wreck of a season. I'm just looking at the big picture, that's all.

stupid question, get a stupid answer, we dont need Luck, so why do i want them to lose??? anyways, i dont see a loss happening unless Painter starts to play like a pro QB.

It's too bad Cleveland isn't waffling on their QB. If Mccoy had stunk it up enough, they'd be a great trade partner since they have 2 #1s this year.
