Last 5 games the Broncos have given up scores of 15, 10, 10, 13, and 13 respectively.

Easy to run it 40 times when you give up 12 points a week.

Yep. Also helps you don't throw a catchable ball. All joking aside, not turning the ball over is huge.

I looked this up too because I was curious how they were doing it. If Panthers had defense like that we'd be 8-3 or better.

i would argue that it is easy to give up only 12 points per game when you can run it 40 times.

But if you run it 40 times a game, its a lot harder to score more than 12-13 points a game these days. So if we were doing that, we would be losing games 13-10 instead of 30-27.

Although with our defense, I can't see us holding anyone to 10 points except in a Monsoon.

They also lost both of their best past rushers last year and with the addition of Von Miller they've been a lot better. I fully believe we would have 5 or 6 wins right now with our original starting defense.

I think it's only going to be ignored because it's a quarterback driven league, for better or for worse. We refer to teams by their QB's and the nature of the game has definitively turned to PROTECT just them.

So when the Pats win a game, we say that Brady won it. Shouldn't expect it to be any different for The Golden Calf of Bristol. Ironically, if The Golden Calf of Bristol is anything truly like the veneer he puts on, he'd probably agree with you guys that he gets too much credit.

Only Hurney purged his team of all it's potential FA talent as well as not signing any last year, the Donkeys like the 49ers still had talent on the roster.

Berman/Jackson/Dilfer spent a good amount of time talking about the D. Of course they found to a way to draw it back to having The Golden Calf of Bristol out there.

What does the TOP look like? It's much easier for a D to go full bore if their O is chewing clock (and the Broncos are running for 200 yards a game under The Golden Calf of Bristol).
