Sad day...games won't be the same without him. He is on my list of top 5 people I admire most in life and the best sports announcer in history. Was great for NFL films also. RIP Harry.

And another one goes with him.... RIP Fidyrich.

Sad week in baseball.

Well, on a positive note, the man lived long enough to see the organization that he had dedicated the last almost 40 years of his life to win a championship that most people had long since written them out of the running for. He went out on top of the world.

We would all do well to be able to have that said about us.

RIP Harry and all the others lost from MLB this week.

This just in.....Harry was alive in 1980 (and working for the Phils).

he didnt get to call the games in 1980 though. 2008 he did.

Which also has nothing to do with the comment I posted about...
