@daringantt It's been reported that Clausen has a $923k roster bonus coming up this month. Not the case. Stay with me, gets a little complicated.

@daringantt The 923k was a "one-time" bonus that he'd have triggered by hitting certain performance and play-time benchmarks. He didn't.

@daringantt Now, that might not change Jimmy's ultimate future here. But the idea he's about to be cut any moment now because of the bonus isn't right.

@daringantt I may be as wrong as wrong about this, but I think the kid has at least some value. Maybe you trade him, maybe he gets cut anyway.

@daringantt That's a long way of saying, Jimmy might still get traded/cut. But it won't be because of a bonus due this month, because there's not one.
