We are in ACC country. Big 12 was a fraud all year. Why is it more embarrassing than the Missouri loss on the same night. They were ranked higher than Duke and lost to a team ranked lower than Lehigh. So technically it should be a worse loss, people just hate Duke, that's all there is too it.

Do you really have to ask? Because Duke is Duke and Missouri is Missouri. They have been one of the biggest names in college basketball for decades and lost to a complete nobody. Missouri might have been ranked higher this year, but nobody cares about Missouri outside of, well, Missouri. If it were UNC, UK, KU etc in the same position the reaction would be no different- these teams are basketball royalty. Why is it more embarrassing than the Missouri loss on the same night. No need for me to add anything further.
You have said what needed to be said.
Thank you.

Still don't understand why they didn't continue to go down low with the ball.
Duke never has and never will play that brand of basketball.
K likes his 3 pointers and sometimes that means they can drop 12 points in 2 minutes, other times it means they lose to Lehigh.

Not true, it's just that his weaker teams are the live and die threepoint teams. 2010's championship team relied on playing inside out and playing great defense to win. Zoubek turning into an offensive rebounding monster helped as well. All of their other great teams had dominant inside games. We just haven't had a truly dominant big man in a while.

1) True point guard like Amaker, Hurley, Jay Williams, Scheyer or Irving. Thornton isn't the answer, haven't seen enough of Cook to really decide. Neither Curry nor Rivers are the answer either.
2) The slashing 6'5 guard/forward. Someone who can drive to the basket. Grant Hill, Gerald Henderson, Nolan Smith. Rivers will probably be that guy but he's not there yet.
3) Defensive specialist. This hurt us most this year. Billy King, Shane Battier, Chris Carrawell and Lance Thomas. Guys who covered the other teams big scorer and for the most part held them in check. We had nobody who could cover McCollum and he gashed us.
Just my humble opinion. Hopefully someone steps up next year.

2) Austin Rivers-type, oh wait
3) a designated flop machine
yeah, that would have helped
