When you have two picks close together, always take the cheaper one first so you have to pay the other less.
Good point. The difference between a 6th and 7th rounder has to be at LEAST $37. Everyone needs to just bow down before the awesomeness of Hurneys cap magic.

It didn't used to be that way..back in the day you could have a decent debate. Oh well...I feel better now.
I didn't mean the Huddle in general, just the topic of your comment.

Nortman says his experience in bad weather gives him (and team) advantage in playoff games in harsh weather conditions.
Good point, never thought of that.

See! What an awesome pick! He'll be prepared for all the blizzards and hurricanes that sweep through Charlotte.

Without the "the FO knows more, canned insult, canned insult" response, explain why you choose someone who isn't as good as other punters available. Genuine question. I'm not the only one posing it.
Not sure why they liked this guy better. Maybe he was bigger and they believed could get stronger. Maybe he has better hang time. Maybe he can positional punt better.
I have no idea.

I know others hate it but I am amused by your sarcasm. It seems today that if you're not totally slobbing the FO's collective knob over every pick no matter who it is, you're being a douche. I don't have a major complaint with any of our choices, and despite the fact the Huddle posts today are "agree or be ostracized," it's perfectly fine to ask questions.

If he doesn't suck it's whatever, I just don't see how "we took the BPA filling a need" route is the case here.
BPA is based on your board...not the experts boards.
Not sure why they liked this kid more. But apparently they did.
