That's actually a Carolina tradition. You're not from around here are ya boy?

Nahh... I'm from the deep south where we eat our burgers with onions and maters.

And thanks for the "boy"... haven't heard that in almost four decades.

The classic American burger can, and does, come with an infinite variety of toppings. But that slaw thingy, to many people make crappy slaw. Before you know it your burger is JAB. Stay away from the slaw and you are good to go.

Adds slaw and chili?

LOL, awesome .gif... I loved that song and video.

Yes man... I can't stand ketchup on my burger. On my fries, yes. Burger, no.

This place called Andy's in NC completely kills it for everyone else man. None of that pre-made, frozen patty stuff... They take the meat, ball it up, throw it on the grill and then make it how you like... But, the I get the basic double bacon cheesburger, it comes with crispy bacon, the cheese and the burgers(obviously), then chilli, slaw, onions, and mustard.

You have not lived until you have eaten one man.

No.

We're talking about burgers, and the burger I'm referring to is the creme de la creme of burgers. That is my point.

That thing looks McFricken disgusting, then again no surprise, just look who serves it.

If anyone wants a real original hamburger and you're in Cincinnati Zip's Café cannot be beat. It's house ground round grilled on a 100+ year old cast iron flat top, the taste is incredible.

I'm a CIA graduate and restaurateur, I know food. This is by far the best burger I have ever had and it really even close.
